Got Questions?

Alpha

Everyone has questions.

Questions are good.

We believe that everyone should have the chance to explore the Christian faith, ask questions and share their point of view. Alpha is a series of sessions designed to do just that. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation.

Each session has three components:

Food – We start by eating a simple meal together because it’s a great way to build community and get to know each other.

Talk/Presentation – We show a 20-30 minute video from the Alpha film series exploring one of the big issues around faith and unpacking the basics of Christianity.

Discussion – The chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic, and simply discuss it in a small group. There’s no obligation to say anything and there’s nothing you can’t say (seriously). It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly, safe and open environment.

Our first introductory Alpha Session at Trinity this year will be on Friday 6th October at 6.30 pm and will run weekly every Friday. You can come to as many or as few sessions as you like; there’s no obligation. If you can’t make our Friday evening sessions there will also be an Alpha Course on a Wednesday afternoon at Bricknell Avenue Methodist Church starting in the near future.
